Future Plans

1. Generation of administrative and thematic maps of planning significance based on the above layers.
2. Generation of a Digital Elevation Model for the entire state using high resolution satellite data.
3. Preparation of Watershed Atlas for entire state.
4. Preparation of digital database of the different districts of the state which will include the road network, drainage pattern, land use map, soil map, slope map, land capability.
5. Mapping of Water Bodies of the State using high resolution satellite data.
6. Mapping of Shifting Cultivation affected areas using temporal satellite data.    
7. Mapping of the villages with low literacy, poverty, imbalance in sex ratio etc.
8. Integration of GIS Databases from various user line departments and online sharing.
9. Development of WebGIS & MobileGIS applications.
