Capacity Building

The Information Technology & communications Department have been engaging in providing training, workshops and orientation programme on Geospatial Technology for the various user line departments from time to time on a requirement basis. Personnel from various departments such as MBDA, Planning, Water Resource, Taxation, Fisheries had been trained on GIS & GPS.

The department has also been in the forefront in engaging interns and students from colleges and universities for their summer projects etc.
